Child Safety Training and Compliance
In Australia, organisations working with children are required to adhere to the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. These principles aim to create organisational cultures and practices that foster child safety and wellbeing across all sectors.
To support this, ChildSafe Australia offers training developed to help organisations meet these principles and state-based child safety standards. Their training includes real-life scenarios to engage participants and assist them in understanding how to put child safety into practice.
Additionally, under the Commonwealth Child Safe Framework, entities are required to establish and maintain a system of training and compliance to make staff aware of, and compliant with, the Framework and relevant legislation, including Working with Children/Vulnerable People checks and mandatory reporting requirements.
Our staff have undertaken Childsafe Training. Providing driving services for individuals with special needs, including those with Asperger’s, Autism, Depression, Anxiety, learning difficulties, and other mental health issues, requires specialised training and understanding. As part of our training over the years in Social Services arena provided us with the theoretical as wells practical knowledge, skills and the ability to support those individuals in their aspiration to gain appropriate support while learning to drive and be safe and confident drivers.
